The begining of the Mayan calendar, Baktum 0, coincides
with the emergence of human civilization, The first written
records were made by the Sumerians. This was around
3200 - 3000 BC, the time they started making cuniforms
in clay tablets.
Pharaoh Menes, who unified Upper and Lower Egypt and
founded its first dynasty, lived around 3100-3050 BC.
Soon afterwards Egyptians were engaged in major
construction work. The Bronze Age began at this time.
The 1st higher human civilizations, the 1st nations,
began at Baktum 0, the start of the Mayan Long Count.
